In working on our registry, I've noticed something surprising. I grew up thinking gold was tacky and gaudy, but now I'm kind of obsessed with it. No, not kind of, I'm completely obsessed with it.
At first I thought it was just a faze, but I'm really having trouble not registering for all things gold. Take flatware for example. I hadn't really decided what kind to put on the list, Jacob pointed out this set and I looked at him like he was crazy. Gold? Really? What am I, a New Jersey Housewife? But then later that day, I couldn't seem to get the image of sparkly gold flatware out of my head. It completely ruined me, and now I can't get enough.
