I always enjoyed the episodes of Project Runway where the contestants would have to construct dresses out of unusual objects {hello jeffery}, so when my friend sent me this article I thought it was really interesting. Robin Barcus Slonina is an installation artist working on a project called "States of Dresses." She's constructing dresses that represent each state out of things that the states would be most recognized for. It's a clever idea and I can't wait to see where it goes!
